Gain the respect of your peers, clients and the entire Virtual Assistant profession by obtaining the Professional Virtual Assistant (PVA) designation.

Just what does it mean to others when you display the PVA shield on your website, letterhead or business card?

The PVA designation tells the world that you are a professional who has invested in your professional development through education, training and actual hands-on experience. This designation also shows the public that your accomplishments have been independently evaluated and that you are near the top of your field. You are certified as a Professional Virtual Assistant.

Becoming designated as a Professional Virtual Assistant is not an easy task. You must submit an application to an independent credentialing authority. This authority then questions your references, verifies your work experience, and evaluates your education just as if they were going to hire you for a job. If you have earned enough credits/points and displayed your professionalism, you are then awarded the PVA.

VACertification.com uses a point system to evaluate both the VA's experience and education. You must earn 300 points to be awarded the PVA designation. Up to 200 of those points may come from your education and training. A minimum of 100 points must come from your actual experience as both an employee and as a VA.

If your experience and education level bring you above 400 points, you qualify for the Master Virtual Assistant (MVA) designation. Please click here for more details.
